If you are interested in having your students create their e-chalk (e-mail) accounts type your name next to a time that is convenient for you. The class will be offered Friday, September 26th. Presenters will be Mike Martinez and Jessica Garza. The class will held in Lab 19.
I opened my e-mail to a FULL inbox! I overhear them saying "I need to check my e-mail.", "Did you get my e-mail?", 'I'm waiting for you to respond.", "Dude, just go to FIND MEMBERS and look up the name."
This is a great technological way to motivate our kiddos to write. I am taking advantage of using this method to address the writing components.
Students greatly enjoyed this training. Since then, they have become very enthusiastic about sending e-mails to their friends. This makes me glad because they have found another purpose for reading and writing!
